Position Summary: Creates and maintains a clean environment in the surgical suites and related areas, including OR, PACU, Anesthesia, and CPD areas. Under general supervision, by completing daily work assignment is responsible for maintaining a clean environment for all customers. Must work with a variety of machines. Must have interpersonal skills which allow courteous and effective dealing with others. Must understand and utilize universal precautions. Must be able to do medium duty work-lifting, pushing, pulling, and stretching for a full work shift. Must possess the necessary acuities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Skills required (if applicable): Interpersonal and communication. Must be able to read and write in order to comprehend assignments, messages, safety, and coworkers and visitors. Must be able to learn a varied number of tasks.
Minimum Education Required: High School or equivalent preferred.
