$35/hour | Long-Term Contract | Potential Permanent Conversion

Overview

Ascend Sync is partnering with Legacy Community Health , the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Southeast Texas, to find an experienced Contract Healthcare Recruiter – Pharmacy who can step in quickly and support urgent pharmacy hiring needs.

  • Maintain organized recruiting workflows and consistent candidate and hiring manager follow-up throughout the hiring process.

  • Deliver a positive, professional, and responsive candidate experience from initial outreach through final communication.

  • Represent Legacy Community Health at pharmacy school career fairs throughout the Houston area.

  • Participate in periodic in-person gatherings with Legacy's Pharmacy team.

  • Present Legacy's opportunities to candidates in a compelling, accurate, and mission-aligned way.

  • Keep searches moving efficiently by balancing urgency, professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Direct recruiting experience, ideally within a healthcare environment.

  • Experience recruiting for pharmacy positions or clearly transferable experience supporting pharmacy-related hiring.

  • Experience using web-based recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems to manage candidates and recruiting workflows.

  • Strong consultative communication skills when partnering with hiring managers and other stakeholders.

  • Excellent candidate follow-up habits and a commitment to providing a positive candidate experience.

  • An approachable, responsive, and solution-oriented customer-service mindset.

  • Ability to communicate a mission-driven healthcare employment opportunity honestly and effectively.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active searches and priorities.

  • Houston-area candidates are strongly preferred due to periodic in-person Pharmacy team gatherings and local career fair representation. Candidates outside the Houston area are still encouraged to apply.
